FIRST IMPRESSIONS

VISUAL: Mielle is a relatively petite teenage girl – she's sixteen years old and described once or twice as still having a particular cuteness that makes her come off as a year or two younger than she actually is. Her green eyes are large and round and she has delicate features that add to her particular charm. She has cornflower blonde hair that's pin straight and falls to just past her waist and her bangs cut blunt and straight just past her eyebrows.

AURAL: Soft, high and airy. She has the careful enunciation and proper politeness of a high-society lady and her vocabulary and word choice tends to reflect that. She dislikes raising her voice and will strive to remain calm and composed as often as she can, but when she's upset or angry, her voice gets particularly shrill. Coming from a webtoon, she doesn't have an actual voice actress, but her voice as I imagine it is something similar to a Xanthe Huynh or Stephanie Sheh role.

OLFACTORY: Floral and delicate. She smells of expensive herbs and cosmetics and scented oils.

DEMEANOUR: Capital-D Dignified. She was raised as the prim and perfect daughter of a count (and with the expectation of becoming a duchess) so she's proper and dainty and such in basically everything she does. She carries herself with a pretty palpable aura of Upper Class Nobility. When she's in stressful situations, she'll try to prioritize keeping her composure, but when faced with something sufficiently upsetting or distressing, she's prone to tears.

IN CHARACTER

PHYSICAL AFFECTION: She dislikes being touched or really just having people in her personal bubble to begin with unless it's someone she's particularly close to and trusts. Particularly, people touching her hair or neck might get a particularly bad reaction out of her that I will detail further down the page.

PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: She's like 16 and she's never done a day's work in her life so physically, you could get her ass. Emotionally? Imagine the toll.

RELATIONSHIPS & SHIP PREFS: good luck lol. Mielle comes from an environment where all 'romantic' relationships are overtly transactional in nature so genuine romance will fly over her head. I'm not.... against??? anything that happens??? but don't go into this expecting a straightforward ship lol. M/F would be Mielle's IC inclination but OOCly idc.

PSYCHIC & PSIONIC INFORMATION: Doesn't matter bc it's a nerfed game lol but if this ever comes up, please ask my permission and we'll discuss it!

MAGICAL INFORMATION: Nothing of note.

MEDICAL INFORMATION: Nothing of note.

OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: As noted above, Mielle is particularly sensitive about people touching her hair or her neck, especially without her permission. In a worst case scenario, she might outright have a panic attack and she will almost definitely flip out in any other circumstance, regardless.

OOCly, Mielle's canon is one of those stories that's kind of just rich people rich people to each other for 100 chapters and as a result, there's some stuff i am going to warn for before we get deep in the paint!

CLASSISM AND CLASS INEQUALITY: This is the big one, lads...!! Mielle was raised in a ducal house and fed a whole lot of twaddle her whole life about how being born a noble makes her Inherently Better than people below her and a whole lot of uncomfortable pro-classism propaganda. Even when she isn't voicing these ideas, they influence the way she interacts with people and may show up in her thoughts from time to time.
INTERNALIZED MISOGYNY: As with the above, Mielle was raised on a bunch of very traditionalist ideas about A Woman's Proper Place In The House And Society and has some pretty deep-rooted beliefs about this sort of thing. It's not something she'll voice very loudly but it will, again, influence her interactions with some folks and her internal thoughts.

Way less likely to come up, but worth noting that there are instances and mention of discriminatory attitudes towards sex workers, miscarriage and death in childbirth in Mielle's backstory, as well as an instance of a character developing an incestuous fixation on a non-blood related stepsibling.

All of these things will be warned for if they come up in threads, but if you very understandably just do not want to deal with anything on the above list, drop a comment down below (they're screened!) and let me know.

BACKTAGGING: Absolutely! It's how I do most of my threading.

THREADHOPPING: I LOVE... THREADJACKING!!! All I ask if that there's something serious and plotty going on that you please ask me first.

FOURTHWALLING: Mild fourth-wall leaning is fine (commenting ICly on jamjar/DWRP game mechanics & conventions, etc), full fourth wall breakage and canon puncturing ("surprise, you're fictional") is a no.
